Abstract: Joannes Baptista Novosoliensis, the second philologist in Hungary This study presents the editorial work of a hitherto little known 16th century philologist from the Kingdom of Hungary, Joannes Baptista Novosoliensis of (Neuzohl) Banská Bystrica, Slovakia.
