Abstract: Abstract: Contact allergens are small reactive chemicals. They cause allergic contact dermatitis (ACD) by activating the innate and adaptive immune system. Contact allergens are very peculiar because of their built‐in autoadjuvanticity that allows them to trigger sterile inflammation following skin penetration.
