Abstract: Aqueous suspensions of graphite were shape stabilized by the additions of collagen and characterized as phase change materials for cold storage with enhanced thermal conductivity. Collagen addition stabilized the graphite suspensions in aqueous media without requirements for additional stabilizers or previous functionalization.
