New Herbig-Haro Objects in the Gulf of Mexico

Abstract: We present the result of a survey for Herbig-Haro objects in the “Gulf of Mexico”, a part of the dark cloud L935. Images taken through Hα and [S ii] filters at SUBARU Suprime Cam covering an area of 34 ′ ×27 ′ reveal 35 new Herbig-Haro objects in this active star forming region, little studied so far.
