Abstract: Abstract The l‐δ‐(α‐aminoadipoyl)‐l‐cysteinyl‐d‐valine synthetase (ACVS) is a trimodular nonribosomal peptide synthetase (NRPS) that provides the peptide precursor for the synthesis of β‐lactams.
