Abstract: AbstractBased on Navier‐Stokes stationary equations a mathematical model is constructed for liquid and gas media with funnel‐shaped rotation observed in atmospheric and sea tornados. Both compressible and incompressible media are considered. The differential equations corresponding to the mathematical model are integrated in elementary functions and the solutions are represented by seven rotationally symmetrical orthogonal curvilinear coordinates applicable to different shapes of funnels.
