Abstract: In this work, an electrochemical sensor was prepared by modifying a carbon paste with the organic molecule of 2-benzimidazolethiol (CPE/OM) by mixing methods (by combination of the organic molecules and the carbon electrode). The sensor was tested for detection of lead ions in an aqueous solution.
