Abstract: International audience; This article describes the ceramic and saddle quern cargoes recorded on a Phoenician shipwreck found off Xlendi Bay, Gozo, dated by the finds to 700-650 BC. The ceramics are divided into three main groups: Tyrrhenian-style amphoras, Phoenician-Punic western amphoras, and large ollas. Discussion of the likely provenance of each type allows preliminary proposals concerning the ship’s route.
