Abstract: Treatment of cells with a variety of growth factors triggers a phosphorylation cascade that leads to activation of mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPKs, also called extracellular signal-regulated kinases, or ERKs). We have identified a synthetic inhibitor of the MAPK pathway.
