Abstract: Abstract ZnO films of hierarchical flower-like and ribbon-like morphology were prepared by thermal transformation of layered basic zinc acetate (LBZA) films, formed by chemical bath deposition from a methanolic solution. LBZA films with the flower-like morphology formed at 55 °C and lower temperatures, while the ribbon-like morphology required 60 °C and concentration of 0.3 M.
