Abstract: We have developed an integrated model that couples a fate model with a cell growth model and a toxic effect model to analyze the dynamics of cell populations when subject to a toxicant in cell-based assays experiments. The model has been used to analyze A549 cytotoxicity assays by simulating the population dynamics and comparing with experimental data. This approach opens a new way of analyzing in vitro experiments and offers the possibility of extrapolating the values obtained to calculate in vivo human toxicology thresholds.
Popularity: This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the
underlying citation network.
Influence: This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the
underlying citation network (diachronically).
Citation Count: This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in
the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically).
Impulse: This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation
network.
